Life scenes
The world in view
Scenes from life stem from everyday experiences ; simple, often fleeting moments,
in which seemingly ordinary actions give meaning and depth to who we are.
I’m interested in these moments: a pose, an interaction, a light, a movement, or a presence.
Painting these scenes means observing the connections—between people, between bodies and their surroundings, and with the present moment.
These images are snippets of life, shared moments of breath, invitations to slow down and look differently at what usually goes unnoticed.
