Animals
The cohabitants
In this series, I look at those who share our world — those who, in their simplicity and authenticity,
invite us to live in the same moment of life.
Every animal I paint is a singular presence, a breath, a form of silent cohabitation between our eyes. Through pastels and painting, I seek to reveal not only their features, their textures, their colors, but also this way that they have to be there, with us, in the same sensitive space.
The “cohabitants” are not mere subjects; they are witnesses of a living, fragile and precious world. They remind me that beauty is found in ordinary gestures—a quiet pose, a curious look, a fleeting mood—and that light reveals both the shape and soul of what is represented.
Explore these animal presences as suspended moments of contemplation, visual encounters that I hope will awaken in you an intimate and profound emotion.
